Worry

Another fantastic quote. I am so glad I have this blog to keep the quotes I find & like. It's so much better than the book I used to keep.
"Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy."
~ Leo Buscaglia
I snagged this from Shari Larsen's Facebook status. She says:
"I'm a born worrywart, I am better than I used to be though, but it's still something I need to work on."
Don't we all? Especially me.

My view

Here is a fantastic quote. I should keep this posted on the fridge, the mirror in the bathroom, the front door …
"I can choose either to be a victim of the world or an adventurer in search of treasure. It's all a question of how I view my life."
~ Paulo Coelho
Today I will be an adventurer. I had already decided I was going to do something, just didn't know it was going to be an adventure.

What you do

Here's a good quote I need to conceptualize:
"The difference in who you are and who you want to be is what you do."

What I do, hmmm.

Going through hell

I signed up for Goodreads Quote of the Day a couple of weeks ago & then promptly forgot about it. I have been pretty lax about checking my email since I started using Facebook. I was checking my email & wondered what the emails were titled Quote of the Day & started looking at them. I decided I'd organize them & have the emails filtered into their very own folder. I read every one of them, since there were only 2 weeks worth of quotes, so far. I used one about books on my book blog. I was closing the half dozen tabs I usually have open on a computer when I use it, preparing to go to bed. The quote from Winston Churchill kept recurring to me. I read the last entry & thought Churchill's quote went perfectly with it. Then it took me another few minutes while I read every email again, trying to find Churchill's quote.
If you are going through hell, keep going.
~ Winston S. Churchill
Excellent advice. Why stop to smell the roses? Just keep going
