The secret of getting started

Ok, another quote found on Facebook. I think the Lord must be telling me something

"The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks, into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one"
~ Mark Twain

Ya, think?

Random quotes from RaDoMiNic

Here is one from October 2008:

Too many of us, when we accomplish what we set out to do, exclaim, 'See what I have done!' instead of saying, 'See where I have been led.'

~ Henry Ford

Two more, these are from Jan. 7, 2009, from BratFactor

The more we allow ourselves to unfold,
the less likely we are to unravel.

~ Rabbi Irwin Kula

So, how do you unfold? And how do we respond?

We will all have failures and rejections in life. The real question is how will you respond, with bitterness, envy and self-doubt, or with resilience and wisdom?

~ Rabbi Harold Kushner

And some spring quotes from March 18, 2010:

"The sun was warm but the wind was chill.
You know how it is with an April day."

~   Robert Frost

And one about sunflowers.

"In April, we cannot see sunflowers in France, so we might say the sunflowers do not exist. But the local farmers have already planted thousands of seeds, and when they look at the bare hills, they may be able to see the sunflowers already. The sunflowers are there. They lack only the conditions of sun, heat, rain and July. Just because we cannot see them does not mean that they do not exist."

~ Thich Nhat Hanh

Here's one from March 19, 2010

In the spring I have counted one hundred and thirty-six different kinds of weather inside of four and twenty hours.

~ Mark Twain
