The secret of getting started
Ok, another quote found on Facebook. I think the Lord must be telling me something
Ya, think?
Motivation
Ok, I needed this quote. The table full of bankruptcy forms & the fact that I'm a week late on this is haunting me.
Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.Oh, & of course it had to be Wayne Dyer. Motivational speaker & author, although I don't think that is how he is billed.

Living
I just subscribed to Goodreads Quote of the Day. The quote for today, June 18, was from Mahatma Gandhi. I put the h in the wrong place in Gandhi. I want to put it right after the G.
Interesting premise. At first I thought, "Well, I wouldn't do anything different than I am right now, if I were to die tomorrow. I'd still be sitting here at the computer." But then I thought, "Wait a minute … I'd go see Mother, but the rest of the stuff, people will just have to deal with."
Learn as if you were to live forever. We are, aren't we? Which brought to mind the scripture that whatever intelligence we attain in this life will rise with us in the resurrection found in the Doctrine & Covenants, Section 130:
It is, of course LDS scripture. Gandhi's quote is still something we should do. If we live the commandments & the way we should live, we aren't going to be scrambling at the last minute trying to set everything right.

Murmuring
Grant Douglas Morgan posted these thoughts on Facebook.
"Those of deep faith do not murmur. They are generously disposed, and they are reluctant to murmur, even while in deep difficulties." ~ Neal A. MaxwellI wonder if this is also from Elder Maxwell
"Laborers in the Lord's vineyard who murmur over life's inequities, declared Jesus, murmur 'against the goodman of the house.' (Matt. 20:11.) The goodness of the Lord is attested to in so many ways—mansions await!—yet we ungrateful guests still complain about the present accommodations.
